== Scopes== There are currently 5 magnifications for weapons. 1x, 1.5x, 4x, 6x and 8x Every attachable scope's reticle is currently red, with the exception of the 8x,which just like the Elite variants of the M9A1 and Sako-85 is stylised blue. It is unknown at this time whether or not Ion will allow personalization of scope reticles ===1x=== Every weapon has it's own unique iron sights for a 1x magnification. While crude, can provide vital aiming assistance where having no usable sight would leave you aimless. ===1.2x (Actual magnification unknown)=== The red dot is what its name implies, a sight with a red dot as the reticle. It can be applied to all weapons. The models on the Assault Rifles, Shotguns, Sniper Rifles, SMG's all differ from the Red Dot Sight on the M9A1, which appears to me a scaled down version similar similar to the Trijicon RMR === 1.5x === The Holographic Sight (Holo sight) is a sight that projects it's reticle center optic, presented as a circle with a central dot. It provides slightly better magnification than it's sister competition, the Red Dot Sight. Due to the design of this sight, it can be fairly obstructive to your peripheral vision, as the housing is large, but nonetheless, a very useable optic that gives you a slight boost to your magnification at the expense of a slight loss in vision. Every weapon class except pistols can use the Holographic Sight. The Holographic Sight is modelled after the EOTech XPS2, albeit with a red reticle as opposed to green. ===4x=== The Advanced Combat Optical Gunsight (ACOG) is the only 4x magnification sight available in Islands of Nyne. It's reticle is presented as a red chevron indicating point of aim. This Scope bridges the gap between Marksman Scope and dedicated Sniper Scope. It is particularly useful on Assault Rifles where it can provide a welcome boost to your weapon's reach and can be used as a viable substitute to the Sako-85, should you not find one. It also can be used on the Sako-85 Sniper Rifle if you prefer unhindered peripheral vision and closed range engagements. Only the Assault Rifles and Sniper Rifles can equip an ACOG. The ACOG is modelled on the Trijicon ACOG ===6x=== The 6x Scope is the only scope if it's magnification in Islands of Nyne. It is exclusive to the Sniper Rifles with the exception of the CX-Storm Assault Rifle.. It is presented in-game as a central red-Dot accented by a black line leading up the center of the scope. This scope is the bread and butter of any marksman who wants to punctuate a bullet to the head with lethal precision. === 8x === Just like the 6x Scope, the 8x is only available to the Sako-85 Sniper Rifle. It is functionally identical to the 6x in every regard other than magnification. It is a incredibly rare spawn in the world and can frequently be found inside Beam Drops, along with the Sako-85 Elite, where it will benefit greatly from the Elite variant's improved handling characteristics. Aesthetically, it's coloured blue, as opposed to red, to indicate it's rarity just like the other Elite weapons/items.
